雅思写作中如何巧用主语从句—澳际英语

在雅思写作中经常运用到各种从句, 很多考生对从句特别是主语从句知之甚少, 很多意思在写作中不知道怎么表达, 怎么写句子是对的, 今天我们就来看一下以下这些句子在写作中都可以运用, 都是正确的, 即主语从句.

　　主语从句: 能放在主语的位置上, 以完整句子的形式出现的句子为主语从句.

　　1.由 that 引导的主语从句
　　That he hasn't phoned is odd.
　　That price will go up is certain.
　　That she is still alive is a surprise.
　　That she became an artist may have been due to her father's influence.
　　That she was chosen made a stir in her village.

　　2.由连接副词或代词引导的主语从句
　　Who are the winners hasn't been announced.
　　What I'm afraid of is the judge's comment.
　　What is over is over.
　　When he will be back depends much on the weather.
　　Where we live doesn't matter much.
　　How the game has been cancelled was mentioned yesterday.

　　主语从句的形式主语有两种: (采用形式主语的原因, 为避免主语过长造成句子头重脚轻)

    1.it 做形式主语
    It was clear enough what he meant.
    It is no business of yours where I spend my summer.
    It's a puzzle how life began.
    It was a question whether he should get married.

    2.there 引导的句子
    there be做形式主语
    There is no rainbow in the sky.
    There are a number of swans on the lake.
    There used to be a cinema here.
    There seems to be something exciting with her.
    There followed a flood of applause from the spectators.
    There came a knock at the door.
